On October 18 2008, Fort Pickett's Post Commander, COL Robert L. Sparks passed command of the post to COL Thomas P. Wilkinson. COL Sparks has provided Fort Pickett with many significant contributions over the past 4 years. Fort Pickett ACUB
Fort Pickett held it's latest ACUB Public Information Meeting from 12-6pm on Tuesday, September 30th at the Blackstone Virginia Army National Guard Armory which is located just east of Blackstone, VA on SR 40 between the town of Blackstone and the main entrance to Fort Pickett. Local Landowners had the opportunity to sit down with knowledgeable representatives and discuss the possibilities for their land.Click for ACUB Information.

Now Open
After being closed for 2 years, The Fort Pickett Movie Theater is now open! The Theater is showing first run movies and also providing concessions
offering Popcorn, Pepsi products, candy, and nachos. The Theater is located at 2480 West Parade St. on Fort Pickett.
